Yes — the free plan is designed for trying the calculator and saving a small number of patients locally in your browser. It is useful for evaluation and lightweight use, but the data lives only on that device and browser. If you clear your browser cache or switch devices, you may lose local data unless you exported a backup. Pro adds cloud sync, restore safety, audit logs, and multi-device access.

Your existing local data is automatically uploaded to the cloud when you sign in for the first time. Nothing is lost. You can also continue to export encrypted backups at any time.

Yes — Stripe requires a card to start a trial, but you won't be charged until day 15. You can cancel anytime before then with one click from the billing portal.

AI Insights uses Claude (Anthropic) to generate a structured clinical summary — intervention strategy, treatment evaluation, and parent talking points. It only runs when you explicitly trigger it using your own Anthropic API key. No patient data is passively sent to Anthropic. Your key is stored locally in your browser. AI outputs are structured summaries, not diagnostic conclusions.

Yes — the family portal (the QR code link your clinician provides) is always free for parents. Clinicians on the Pro plan can generate QR codes to link parent accounts. The parent app has no subscription fee.
